Sue Di Chio studied fine arts before starting Suboo in 2012 with a small resort wear collection, made in Bondi, Sydney. The label is still designed locally in Sydney.
Suboo now makes trans-seasonal ready-to-wear, with a resort capsule each season. Its signature is simple but distinctive shapes with a feminine edge, built on natural fabrics, its own prints and metallic lurex knits made in Brazil. The brand pays close attention to fit, and custom knit swimwear sits alongside the printed dresses.
