Alémais

Alémais is the label of Australian designer Lesleigh Jermanus, a fine arts graduate who has worked in fashion for more than 20 years. It has been making clothes since 2021, and her heritage feeds into the designs.

The label is known for its own prints, patchwork and embroidery, set on classic shapes. It works with artists and artisan communities around the world and favours plant-based, lower-impact fabrics. Its first impact report says all of its printing is digital and that 72% of the cotton it used in 2024 was organic.
